Complete one math problem each day to keep your math skills strong all summer long. Use a separate piece of paper to show your work using pictures, models, equations, or written explanations. Return your completed calendar on the first day of school to receive a special prize. Have fun and enjoy your summer learning adventure!
ST Math Summer Play!
Students will have two opportunities to work with JiJi over the summer!
Option 1: Virtual - Students will have access to ST Math during the summer. Feel free to use our ST Math virtual progress tracker for students to track their progress throughout the summer!
Directions to log in at home through launchpad.
Option 2: Unplugged- Students are able to access math off-screen with our “What’s the Math?” off-screen summer activities! (Optional pdf documents linked) Spend time connecting things you do in the real world to math problems!
Summer Math Games
These games are highly motivational, and a great way for students to practice their math skills all summer long. Beside each title are the skills and concepts that are reinforced.
Grow as a Reader this Summer!
Students may select books from the lists of titles below OR choose any other books by visiting their local library or bookstore. Students entering grades K-2, complete a summer reading BINGO sheet and book log to help keep you on track this summer and students entering grades 3-5, complete a story map (for fiction) or nonfiction notes (for informational text).
